Alexander Roccaro

I'm a first-year masters student in the polar geophysics research group at Temple EES. The focus of my studies is measuring the sea-floor shape underneath Dotson Ice Shelf in western Antarctica. Using seismic and gravity methods, my research is intended to help understand how sea-floor shape affects ocean circulation. Circulating ocean water is a major driving force in West Antarctica's ice loss.
